In the last article , I introduced about kinds of seat at RYOGOKU KOKUGI KAN where Tokyo’s grand sumo“ tournament is held in January, May, and September.

Today I will inform you about kinds of seat at EDION ARENA OSAKA where Osaka’s grand sumo“ tournament is held in March

1, The access for EDION ARENA OSAKA

Address: 3-4-36 Nambanaka, Naniwa-ku, Osaka, 556-0011
It takes 5-minute walk from Namba Station on Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and Nankai Railway.
( It takes 14 minutes by subway from Shin Osaka station to Namba station.)

2, The Seat Map and price

There is one floor.

3, To get “Same-Day ticket”

It is very the most popular entertainment for Japanese and foreigner.

So it is very difficult to by a seat ticket.

I strongly recommend to buy it on the internet from the HP of Nihon Sumo Kyokai.

The reservation on the internet can be made up to 2 months in advance.

You can buy a ticket for a chair seat on the day at EDION ARENA OSAKA.

But keep your mind, it is a hard competition.

The same day ticket(very few) will be started selling at 7:40AM.

But people have made a row around 6 o’clock AM already.

And One pereson can buy one ticket!

And you can look many sumo wrestlers around EDION ARENA OSAKA or Namba station in the tournament period.
