Today, I will introduce a “Shichi Fuku Jin Meguri” in Kamakura.

This is one of recommendation route.
Visiting turns aren’t decided. You can go as you like.
In this route, You will walk for 5km.
It takes about 3-4hours.
And you have to pay the entrance fee in some temple.
Let’s Start from Kita-kamakura station(JR line)
Jochi-ji Temple
1402 Yamanouchi ,Kamakura city
Hotei is enshrined.
The god of happiness, contentment and good fortune.

Walk in 15-20 minutes
Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine
2-1-31 Yukinoshita, Kamakura city
Benzeiten is enshrined.
The Goddess of financial fortune, music and art.

Walk in 5-10 minutes.
Houkai-ji Temple
3-5-22 Komachi, Kamakura city
Bishamonten is enshrined.
The God of war and victory

Walk in 5-10 minutes
MyoRyu-ji Temple
2-17-20 Komachi, Kamakura city
Juroujin is enshrined.
The god of longevity

Honkaku-ji Temple

Get to Hase station( Enoden line)
2, The stamp book
You can collect the red ink stamp of each temple and shrine.
You need pay 300-400 JP yen to get a stamp.
The stamp is pressed on paper that you like.
If you like, you can buy a stamp book in any temple and shrine.
The stamp book costs more than 800 JP yen.
Below’s image is a dedicated stamp sheet for”Shichi Fuku Jin Meguri“.

“Shichi Fuku Meguri” is a traditional new year’s event for us.
But you can try it anytime in a year.
